To finish a painting that needs to be delivered next week or to start writing a new short story I just finished outlining last night.
One I've made a necessity, the other falls into the category of spare time fun.
One holds an unappealing promise of tedious detail work and touch-ups, the other has all the optimism and potential of a new project that doesn't yet have any major problems to fix.
I think it's easy to see why I seldom finish things....
Perhaps I can accomplish both today.
